Mini Vacay

There is something so comforting as the innocence of a child.  As my days have been filled at a hospital my girls have found a mini vacay in Baton Rouge.  Though there have been many tears on my end, there have been many giggles on theres.

I am so thankful how my in-loves have totally embraced me by showing there love for me in the way they have taken care of my girls.  I know God has used this time to imprint them on my children's hearts even more.

Happy Birthday Anna Caroline!

Where has the past year gone?  Anna Caroline continues to add such joy to our life!

We celebrated Anna Caroline with a few friends and cupcakes at the park one morning.

She enjoyed her cake!

When I took her for her 1 year check up she weighed 19.6 pounds (21% percentile) & 31 inches long (94% percentile).  She still only has her 2 bottom teeth but I think I see one on top about to pop through. I am thankful she continues to be a great napper.  We still have a short morning nap, long afternoon nap, and sleeping about 13 hours at night.  

Anna Caroline is on the MOVE!!! She is quite speedy when it comes to crawling and LOVES to climb.  She is so different from her sister in this aspect!  Matt & I laughed the other night as we commented how adventurous she is.  She is doing things Mary Stewart never dreamed of.  Her personality is VERY fitting of her name sake, Maw Maw Anna and the red hair she shares with her daddy!

Though I am very much on my toes with her lately  I wouldn't trade it for anything.

When I was pregnant I was worried if I would ever be able to love another child as much as I did Mary Stewart.  It's amazing how God continues to grow your heart.  I couldn't' imagine life without Anna Caroline.  My heart overflows for her!

Summer is Here!

Summer is here and if the past 2 weekends are any indication of how the summer will be, I'll take it. We have been enjoying evenings in backyards and by the pool! So thankful to have this sweet group of friends to walk through the summer with!!!

P.S- there are 2 twin babies missing for the record!

I Love Ewe!!

Last week as I was waisting time on Facebook something ran through my news feed that caught my eye, "Have Ewe Heard?"  I saw my friend Katy had signed up and I said what a fun free even on a Friday morning.  So glad we made the drive to Chastain Park this morning.  It was a beautiful day and a really great event.  We enjoyed coffee and cookies for breakfast along with a  few crafts and of course the SHEEP!!

This was Mary Stewart's first face painting and she loved it!  I was shocked at how still she sat.

We enjoyed a walk around Chastain with Katy and Mary Francis and then playground time of course.

Yes, Anna Caroline was there!  She spent most of her time in the stroller.  As always she was a trooper.
